Affiliates Await Italian Ad Ban, Grasp Swedish Opportunity, Says Better Collective Chief

Denmark-based affiliate Better Collective insists the effects of Italy’s gambling advertising ban have yet to have an impact on them as an affiliate, as the company focuses on Sweden and other emerging European markets.

In an interview with GamblingCompliance, Better Collective CEO Jesper Søgaard said it is currently “business as usual” in Italy, as the company awaits the end of existing advertising contracts that are still being honoured.

The advertising ban came into effect on July 14, 2018, followed by a sponsorship ban on January 1, 2019, but existing contracts will be honoured up to July 14.
